Brain As Quantum Computer

Entertain an outlandish notion: your brain is a quantum computer that is capable of affecting and navigating the multiverse akin to how your personal computer affects and navigates the World Wide Web. A deterministic, prefixed outlook on reality may be tempting to project. But consider for a moment that there is an infinite number of possible futures in front of you. If you believe that the future is not determined, if you believe that free will is real, then you would also have to believe that parallel universes exist. In fact, as a thought experiment, one could argue that the very notion of statistics, the fact that we even have a concept of “chance,” implies the reality of a multiverse. At any rate, assuming you are open to this possibility, now critically question what allows you to “jump” from one universe to the next. Dreaming is a good analogue. The dream state is a hologram that is determined by your expectations, beliefs, and desires. Perhaps these notions are more than mere notions but in fact forces or sub-forces that traverse multiple dimensions. If so, then mastering the multiverse is a matter of mastering your ability to expect, believe, and desire - is it not?
